The soft vinyl manufacturer Letitbe was in charge of the color design for the 450 series by Marusan, a long-established soft vinyl manufacturer.

Marusan's president, Eiji Kaminaga, has officially named the new series "Kawa-kin," a reference to the words "Kawaii" and the color gold, a limited edition for the 70's.

The first in the trilogy is Goro SUN-Yellow (GID ver.), who symbolizes the ultimate kawaii, with his golden fur shining like the sun, illuminating the world.

For Seventies, this will be a memorable challenge in a new series marking their 10th anniversary.

I want to cherish this opportunity to encounter the Reiwa era and do my best to pursue Goro's cuteness.

I believe I have been able to give shape to that idea.

What is the new series Kawa-kin?

It was born from the concept of taking the globally-shared term "kawaii," which originated in Japan, and using the Marusan 450 to perfect it.
